Terms of use
Pilot terms · last updated 2026-10-03
Trellis is offered to a small number of companies as a pilot, without charge, in exchange for real use and honest feedback. These are the terms of that arrangement. By creating an account or accepting an invitation into a workspace you agree to them.
Your workspace and your data
A workspace belongs to the company that created it. Everything recorded in it — the plan, its readings, notes, decisions and attached documents — is that company's, and Trellis holds it only to provide the service. Administrators can export it at any time and can clear or archive it. Trellis does not use it for anything else and does not sell it.
Accounts
You are responsible for the account you sign in with and for what is recorded under your name. A company's administrators decide who is a member of its workspace and what each member can see and change.
What Trellis does with a document you import
When you choose to import strategy material, its content is sent to a model run by Anthropic to be read onto the plan, and you are asked to confirm that before it happens. The file itself is kept only if you choose “keep a private copy” when importing, stored privately and readable only by your workspace; either way, the rows you review keep short quotes from it. Nothing lands in the plan until you review and commit it.
Acceptable use
Use Trellis for your own company's planning. Do not try to reach another company's workspace, probe the service for weaknesses without asking first, upload material you have no right to hold, or use it to send unsolicited email.
Availability and support
This is a pilot. Trellis is provided as it stands, without a service-level commitment. Faults are fixed as quickly as a very small team can, and you will be told about any incident that touches your data. Features may change; the change log is kept in the open.
Fees
There is no charge during the pilot. If a paid arrangement follows, it will be a separate written agreement, and these terms will be replaced by it.
Ending the arrangement
Either side can end it at any time. A company that leaves can export its plan first, and can ask for its workspace and its members' personal data to be deleted; deletion is confirmed in writing. Trellis will give at least thirty days' notice before withdrawing the pilot, except where it must act sooner to protect other customers.
Liability
Trellis is a planning tool, not a source of advice. Decisions taken on the strength of what it shows are yours. To the extent the law allows, Trellis is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the pilot, and its total liability is limited to the fees paid, which during the pilot are none.
Questions about these terms go to the administrator who invited you (a contact address for this deployment has not been configured yet). How your data is handled is set out in the privacy notice.
